Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD)

Degenerative disc disease (DDD) is a condition that occurs when the intervertebral discs—the shock-absorbing cushions between the bones of your spine—begin to break down. While this process is a natural part of aging, it can become painful and deb

Cervical Radiculopathy (Pinched Nerve in the Neck)

Cervical radiculopathy, also known as a pinched nerve in the neck, occurs when a nerve root in the cervical spine becomes compressed or irritated.  This condition can lead to pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness that radiates from the neck into the shoulders, arms, and hands.

Cervical Spondylosis (Neck Arthritis)

cervical spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis, commonly referred to as arthritis of the neck, is a degenerative condition that affects the cervical spine. As we age, the discs and joints in the neck naturally wear down, which can lead to chronic neck stiffness, reduced mobility, and nerve compression. While this condition is common in older adults, it can significantly affect quality of life when symptoms worsen.

Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI)

Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI)

Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is a circulatory disorder in which the veins—typically in the legs—are unable to efficiently return blood to the heart. This leads to blood pooling in the lower extremities, causing symptoms such as swelling, heaviness, aching, skin discoloration, varicose veins, and, in advanced cases, painful ulcers.

Low Back Pain (Lumbago)

lumbago

Low back pain, also known as lumbago, is one of the most common reasons people seek medical care. It can affect anyone at any age and ranges from a dull, persistent ache to sharp, debilitating pain that limits movement. For some, symptoms last a few days; for others, the condition becomes chronic, disrupting work, exercise, and quality of life.

Lumbar Radiculopathy (Sciatica)

lumbar radiculopathy

Sciatica, also known as lumbar radiculopathy, refers to pain caused by irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve—the largest nerve in the body. This condition often presents as sharp, radiating pain that begins in the lower back and travels through the buttock, down the leg, and sometimes into the foot. Along with pain, patients may also experience numbness, tingling, or muscle weakness in the affected leg.

Lumbar Spondylosis (Arthritis of the Lower Back)

spondylosis

Lumbar spondylosis refers to age-related degeneration of the lower spine. Often described as arthritis of the back, it results from gradual wear and tear of the spinal discs, joints, and bones. While some people remain asymptomatic, others may experience chronic low back pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility that worsens over time.

Osteoarthritis of the Knee

Knee osteoarthritis is a common, progressive joint condition that results from the breakdown of cartilage—the smooth, protective tissue that cushions the bones in your knee. As cartilage wears away, bones begin to rub against each other, leading to pain, swelling, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Over time, even simple movements like walking, climbing stairs, or getting out of a chair can become difficult.

Rotator Cuff Injury

A rotator cuff injury occurs when the group of muscles and tendons surrounding the shoulder joint becomes strained, torn, or inflamed. These structures are essential for shoulder stability and movement. When damaged, patients often experience pain with overhead motion, weakness when lifting, and reduced shoulder mobility.

Varicose Veins

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are enlarged, twisted veins that often appear on the legs and feet due to weakened or damaged vein valves. These veins can become raised, bulging, and blue or purple in color. While many patients seek treatment for cosmetic reasons, varicose veins may also indicate deeper circulatory issues such as chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). Symptoms can include leg heaviness, throbbing pain, swelling, and skin changes.
